NEW CD FEATURES MY "MACEWAN SUITE"

The innovative album, Song From My Heart, has taken two years to produce and showcases the creativity of MacEwan’s faculty, students, and alumni. In this CD set of 22 songs, half feature more contemporary/popular compositions such as rock, pop, and electronic, while the rest present jazz/fusion arrangements and original compositions.

Highlighted within this CD is an original composition by MacEwan’s Head of Composition, Allan Gilliland, entitled MacEwan Suite. This set of four pieces was written specifically to feature the Big Band, Guitar Band, Percussion Ensemble, and Showcase Band.
