Pipe Dreams
It has been a highlight of my career to work with internationally renowned flutist Jim Walker for the last 7 years. I wrote Pipe Dreams, a Concerto for Flute and Big Band in 2018, and I'm so excited that it is now available on the record Pipe Dreams, Jim Walker with the MaceWan Generations Big Band. The record was released on Bent River Records, MacEwan's own record label.
Regulare
I was honoured to be a part of this wonderful project conceived by Dean McNeill. Dean commissioned eight composers to write works that might "regulate" our nervous systems during these stressful times. I composed a piece called Perpetual Motives, which begins the concert.
Pro Coro has released their new CD We Breathe In Stars. It contains my choral piece How Good Will It Feel.
The Standing Stones of Stenness Commissioned by the Alberta Band Association and premiered by the Alberta Virtual Honour Band and members of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra.

Edmonton Winds Recording
The Edmonton Winds will release their latest recording on October 26, 2025. This new record will include my compositions, The Standing Stones of Stenness, and Dreaming of the Masters IV, featuring the great PJ Perry.​

2025/26 Compositions
Shakespeare's Will
I am beginning a new, large-scale song cycle in collaboration with playwright Vern Theissen and Pro Coro. This multi-movement work is an adaptation of Vern's highly successful play, Shakespeare's Will.​ The first workshop will be in the fall of 2026.

The Planets
After a wonderful premiere in 2024 and another performance by the Saskatoon Jazz Orchestra in 2025, the River City Big Band spent 5 days in June recording my re-imagining of this wonderful piece. I will be working over the next year editing these sessions with the plan on releasing the record in the fall of 2026.

The Belgariad Suite
So inspired by working on The Planets, I am now working on another suite for big band called The Belgariad Suite. This suite is inspired by the wonderful books written by David Eddins.
