In the new year I will write a new work for trumpet and wind band to feature Dean McNeill with the Edmonton Wind's on their 2020 European tour.

I'm very excited to be adapting Pipe Dreams, the flute concerto I wrote for James Walker, for the University of Southern California Wind Band conducted by H. Robert Reynolds.

Finally, I have started work on a new musical/opera to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of MacEwan University. Vern Theissen will write the book and the Royce Varvek will be the librettist. We have purchased the rights to Guy Vanderhage's Governor General award winning novel The Englishman's Boy and Vern is busy working on the adaptation. The hope is to have a workshop this fall.
